I know there's an issue with virtual adapters in Windows 10 and I'm assuming that's the cause, but strangely enough, I know a couple of co-workers that are running Windows 10 and use the built in Check Point VPN client. I've also done clean installs of Windows 10 and also clean upgrades from Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 to both fully updated Windows 10 builds and even tested on older builds. Thats an interesting idea but this client has a Meraki firewall so the clients all just use the native Windows PPTP VPN client.

I've tried upgrading from a fully updated Windows 8.1 version to Windows 10 with my Check Point VPN alreadyĬonfigured (and working) but once I do the upgrade, it still doesn't show as a VPN option. You can also try a different VPN client like Viscosity which I have had excellent luck with and no tampering with settings is required.
